If a Connecticut court ordered you to complete a parenting education program, our class meets that requirement across Connecticut's 8 counties. Under CT Gen. Stat. § 46b-69b, Connecticut courts order both parents to complete parenting education in family, custody, and other family law cases involving minor children. You must complete the program within 60 days of the return day or filing date per CT Practice Book § 25-5(6).
The class covers developmental stages of children, adjustment to parental separation, dispute resolution and conflict management, visitation guidelines, stress reduction in children, and cooperative parenting as required by § 46b-69b(a). Connecticut's Judicial Department certifies completion directly to the court.
Both parents complete the program independently. Our class meets Connecticut's curriculum requirements and provides an instant certificate with QR verification that courts can validate immediately.
Connecticut operates a contracted provider system under § 46b-69b(c), where the Judicial Department contracts with specific providers and certifies completion results directly to courts. Participation is mandatory in family cases involving minor children.
